01 · Our story
JVI Design started as an in-house preconstruction desk for a regional painting contractor, then opened up to flooring and tile & stone crews who needed the same discipline: measured scope, priced line by line, delivered fast enough to actually make bid day.
Today we work as an extension of your office — you send the plans, we send back measured quantities your PM, your crew and your bank can all agree on.

03 · Founder
Jeff Stanley
Founder, JVI Design
Jeff started in the tile setting trade in 1980 at 18 years old, training in a union shop and working his way up to foreman. In 1989 he opened his own contracting business, which he ran for over two decades through 2012 — pricing, building and standing behind his own bids the whole way.
Alongside contracting, Jeff worked as a kitchen designer using 2020 Design Live CAD, and served as a project manager for Fine Floorz — carrying that field and design experience into every estimate JVI Design delivers.
In 2025 he completed a Construction Management degree at Diablo Valley College, having attended multiple blueprint reading and construction management courses along the way — formal training layered on top of over four decades in the trades.

Takeoffs and estimates are built on Construction Suite and PlanSwift, with project coordination run through Office 365.
